How did you get into modeling?

When I was 16 I did fashion shows and I got picked to go to New York but at that time my grandparents wouldn’t allow me to do it because I was too young. I  always told myself that when I reached 18, I would get back involved and I got back involved when I was 18

Is there a certain person that inspired you to get into it?

One of my photographers named Omar Bower.  I would say he did because after I had my first child I didn’t think it was appropriate for me anymore. He kept telling me how beautiful I was.

Recently you have gotten a lot of recognition for being on the May 2006 issue of MySpace magazine. How great of an accomplishment was that to be featured on the front of a magazine that’s getting bigger everyday?

That was actually real cool. That was something that helped me along the way. It gave me a lot of publicity around the world. It put me in contact with a lot of major companies so that was real cool. A lot of people got to see me. They got to read about my story and what it took for me to get to where I’m at, so that was real cool

How did you get that job?

It was kind of crazy because it was a bet. I didn’t actually think that MySpace was appropriate for somebody of my age. I was talking to a group of my friends and I was like that I would never date anybody on MySpace. They bet me to put my pictures on MySpace and out of a bet I put my pictures on MySpace and two hours later I got a phone call from Andre Lamar who is the owner of MySpace magazine wanting to know if I could submit a bio and some pictures because they wanted me to be featured in their magazine. The next day I found out that they wanted me on their cover sample issue which was actually the issue that everybody was requesting. I am on their card so it was a shock, shocking to me. I was very surprised. A lot of girls submitted their pictures and we know MySpace is very big and there is a lot of beautiful girls and for some reason he picked me. So that was real cool.

What projects or publications have you been featured in or are currently working on right now?

In the past, I have worked with a lot of football players and their foundations. We did Travis Teller's foundation. I hosted Mike Mckenzie from the New Orleans Saints four-day celebrity basketball weekend. I’m a part of two of the new rookies that got drafted this year Devin Aromashudu and Omar Jacobs. I helped put together their foundation. I am there with them at events just showing my face. I host a lot of club events. I’m shooting for Florida Beach Magazine which is out of Miami. I'm also doing a calendar called Voodoo calendar. I am in a lot of different magazines. I don’t keep up with them anymore and I am in a lot of different calendars. I got a lot of people calling me to host events for them. I was one of the models featured at the Ozone awards, so things have been picking up. 

In the past, you have done some body painting, would you do playboy?

I wouldn’t do Playboy. I would have to say no. I have an image that I am trying to set for the public and I am also a mother. I wouldn’t do anything nude or in g-strings. With the body painting I felt comfortable. 

Besides modeling, is there anything else that you are doing?

I do PR for athletes I am a Public Relations coordinator for athletes. We put together their foundations. We put together events, parties, things of that nature. 

Are you into acting or singing or anything like that?

No, I sing on my own time but no. Hopefully going into 2007 I have been offered a couple of positions to come in and audition for acting for a couple of movies. Its something that I am thinking about. Hopefully that is where my career will take me.

What do you think your best feature is and why?

I think that I am versatile. I actually love that. My lips change and a lot of people find that fascinating.

What do you mean your lips change?

My lips change basically meaning I could look one way one day another way another day. I can change my style, my hair, my skin. I am Italian and Black so I kind of got the best of both worlds and I benefit from that a lot.

What qualities do you find sexy in a man?

I love a man that dresses up. I like a tie, a button up shirt, and some slacks. A hardworking man. He has to have a personality because I am very goofy and he has to be very understanding being that I am always on the go.
